What Women Want in Pajamas

Women today are busy working, taking the kids to different activities and volunteering as Team Moms and den leaders. Women have more stress now than they ever have before. They have more opportunities open to them, and with those opportunities they have more responsibilities and challenges. When they finally have time to relax, they are looking for the greatest source of energy and comfort they can find. One great way to relax is with a comfortable pair of pajamas; here are the things women are looking for the most when they are choosing a pair of PJ's.

The main thing women are looking for, and the feature they are not willing to compromise on, is comfort. The fabric desired is different from one women to the next. Some like cotton, other's like silk and still others prefer flannel. But they all agreed that they wanted the pajamas to be one hundred percent comfortable.

Even when work is done and everyone is home from extra-curricular activities, women are still doing laundry, washing dishes, tidying the house and doing some paperwork from the office. During this time, they want their pajamas to have a loose-fit. Today's women are busy and going constantly from the time they get up until they collapse in bed and at the end of the day they want their pajamas to be loose-fitting.

Women are passionate about being savvy with their money; they want their pajamas to be durable. They expect that their pajamas will withstand being washed, and they want to be able to enjoy them for a long time to come. Lacy negligees that require hand-washing or dry-cleaning my be pretty, but they aren't what women really want in their pajamas. What they really want is pajamas that are easy to care for, requiring nothing more than a run through the washer and dryer.

These requirements don't mean that women will be happy with frumpy and bland pajamas. They still want them to be stylish, feminine and attractive. They want to feel like the clothes compliment them, hugging their bodies in all the right places. In other words; they want to feel as comfortable as they would in sweatpants but still look feminine and attractive.

Women also agreed that it was a good idea to have some fun pajamas, to help them relax. 'Fun' can mean several different things, depending on the woman. Some considered sexy fun while others considered cute expressions or cartoon characters fun. They also liked pajamas that were available in matching sets for their children, or even their husbands!
